Plan 9 provides a full digital production service in partnership with designers, hosting companies & application service providers. We understand that each project has unique requirements in terms of the design, content, functionality and hosting so we always use the best team to meet the brief.
Development
We specialise in developing Content Management System [CMS] driven sites which empower our clients to update their own sites using an easy to use web-based interface. Umbraco is our preferred CMS but have experience of other systems including RedDot . We develop mainly using ASP.NET and SQL Server and are a member of Microsoft's Partner Program and use Microsoft Certified Solution Developers.
We have also done many custom application builds most recently for jambustingjune.com.
Design
We work with RARE and Elk [who designed our website and logo] as well as the internal design department at Bristol Council to develop the look and feel of our sites.
Hosting
We use Catalyst2 to host most of our sites. Through Cat2 we can provide hosting on a shared, semi-dedicated or dedicated basis. All our sites are backed up nightly and hosted in secure facilitites at Telehouse Europe in London's Docklands.
